Dr. Laura Anderko, PhD, RN, is a scholar and educator in the field of public health at Georgetown University School of Nursing & Health Studies. She has served on ANHE’s board and as co-chair of the Research Workgroup, and is a member of the Steering Committee. Exploring the health impacts of climate change through epidemiological and community-based methods of inquiry, and advocating for healthy public policy, she was recognized by the White House as a Champion of Change in Public Health in 2013 for her work.
