Grace Whitney is the Energy & Sustainability Manager for the Montefiore Health System based in New York City. Having graduated with a Master’s Degree in Sustainability Studies, Grace has dedicated her career to advancing sustainability initiatives in a variety of organizations, from small family-owned businesses to international corporations. In 2014, Grace cemented her future in healthcare when she accepted a position as a Healthcare Sustainability Specialist with Stericycle. In her current role, Grace is committed to fulfilling Montefiore’s Mission “to heal, to teach, to discover, and to advance the health of the communities we serve” by working to create a culture of sustainability that will positively impact both the community and the environment.
