Gretchen Zehner, MS, RDN, LDN, is a clinical dietitian with UPMC Outpatient Nutrition Counseling Services. She is the lead dietitian with UPMC’s Heart and Vascular institute where she strongly promotes the use of plant based diets for the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease. Gretchen attended the University of Vermont where she obtained her bachelor of science degree in dietetics, minoring in food systems. She attended the University of Pittsburgh where she obtained her master of science degree in clinical nutrition and completed her dietetic internship.
