Program Manager for Emergency Preparedness, Partners HealthCare
Katie Kemen is the program manager for Emergency Preparedness at the Partners HealthCare System based in Boston, MA. With over a decade of experience in public health and healthcare emergency management, Ms. Kemen has worked within government and non-profit organizations focusing on multi-disciplinary, system-level emergency planning. Ms. Kemen has responded to numerous disasters throughout her career including the 2009 H1N1 pandemic and the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing. She has published and presented on health system preparedness and response. Since 2015, Ms. Kemen has served on the leadership team for the Partners HealthCare resiliency master plan initiative working to improve resiliency to severe climatic and seismic events through facility and operations-based interventions.
