Laura Faye Vernon has had a 30 year career working in sustainability in health care. Currently, the president at Blue Environmental Performance, Laura works with organizations to overcome barriers to make operational changes while helping create infrastructures to promote culture and behavior change, necessary for sustainable transformation. Laura was the founding executive director of Hospitals for a Healthy Environment (H2E) – the predecessor of Practice Greenhealth – a non-profit membership organization dedicated to creating a national clearinghouse for information and resources to address the environmental and health impacts related to the health care sector.
