Dr. Sack speaks nationally and internationally on topics of climate change, environmental sustainability and fossil fuels divestment. He authored AMA’s fossil fuels divestment policy that was adopted in June, 2018. For a decade, Dr. Sack chaired the Environment & Health Section of the Florida Medical Association (FMA). He authored more than a dozen environmental health and climate change policies of the FMA and American Medical Association (AMA). He has chaired the Jacksonville, Florida Environmental Protection Board, served on the Florida Energy Commission, and is Editor of My Green Doctor, an environmental sustainability resource that is a partnership of six health professional societies and is used now in 35 countries. He is a Board member for Physicians for Social Responsibility, Washington, DC. He is a Florida gastroenterologist.
