While in St. Louis
For more information on things to do during your visit to St. Louis, take a look at the Discover St. Louis website.
Conference app
We are utilizing Swapcard as the CleanMed mobile app. Attendees will receive a welcome email with information on how to gain access to Swapcard. Use your mobile phone to download the conference app, or search for “CleanMed” in the App Store or Google Play. Use the app to configure your profile, make connections, create your personal schedule of sessions, seek out which virtual exhibitors you would like to visit, and see who’s speaking.
To log in to the app, enter the email address you used to register for the event, and an email with a “magic sign-in link” will be sent to you. You will then set a password and can begin accessing the app content. If you’ve used Swapcard before, you may have a password associated with your account, or you can request a new “magic sign-in link.”

If you have requested dietary accommodations, such as gluten-free, vegan, Kosher, or halal, please let a server know to receive further guidance.
Diversity, equity & inclusion
Diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and practices guided us in the planning and organization of CleanMed. We strive to continue to craft more inclusive and equitable events, and, through our evaluation process and future planning, this will continue to be a priority.
We are honored to host a diverse group of speakers representing a variety of insights, viewpoints, and lived experiences. Conference sessions were designed to engage different learning styles through smaller discussions, larger plenary gatherings, and interactive workshops. During planning, we’ve done our best to ensure there is universal access, including but not limited to closed captioning, a room for nursing, and accessible colors and contrast on our website and virtual app. Signs and other communications throughout the conference use welcoming and inclusive language. We are also gathering demographic information from participants to continue to improve the inclusivity and accessibility of CleanMed.
We are offering a virtual registration option for those who won’t be joining us in person, and we will be livestreaming all plenary sessions and some breakout sessions through our event platform/mobile app.
We acknowledge the land where the conference is being held, the traditional and ancestral homeland of The Osage Nation.
We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.

- Structured networking & peer exchange: You’ll see more opportunities for connection built into the agenda, including Regional Roundtable Exchanges and other small-group discussions designed for peer problem-solving and shared learning.
- Working sessions & collaborative formats: In addition to traditional sessions, CleanMed includes collaborative formats where participants work together to tackle challenges, co-develop ideas, and advance progress beyond the conference.
QR codes
We are pleased to bring back a way to connect with attendees this year. You’ll notice your registration badge has a QR code printed on it. With the CleanMed app’s built-in QR code scanning, attendees can seamlessly connect and exchange contact information with others. From the home page of the app, click the QR code in the center of the bottom menu, grant the app access to your camera, and point it at another attendee’s QR code to add them to your contacts. Collected contacts can be exported into a spreadsheet post-event. See more information here.

At its heart, the initiative is about nurturing the people who are driving change, because sustainable systems require sustainable people and relationships.
