Pre-conference activity: Explore one of the most eco-friendly buildings in the world
Did you know that one of the world’s most sustainable buildings is right here in Atlanta, on Georgia Tech’s campus, which is a few miles from the conference hotel? The Kendeda Building for Innovative Sustainable Design is more than just a structure; it embodies a mission. As the first Living Building Challenge-certified project in the Southeast, it represents the pinnacle of green building achievements worldwide. Unlike traditional green buildings that focus on reducing harm, The Kendeda Building is regenerative, meaning it gives back more than it consumes. Watch this short video to learn more and visit for a self-guided tour. The building is open to the public Monday-Friday from 8 am to 9 pm.
There is no cost for this tour, but you must provide transportation on you own (Lyft estimate between $8-$15 one way).
